Fall is upon us
Today is one of those fall days in New England that I especially value. It was cold when I left the house for work at around 7am and it soon will be time to wear gloves and a hat. At the same time there is not a cloud in the sky and one could see for miles. It would be the perfect day to go flying. Some of the leaves are turning their color and more will follow soon.

We are on a long weekend trip to Toronto as a family right now. It is a trip of a few firsts: The first time in Toronto, which by the way is a great city, lots to do and see. The first time in an Airbnb and we were totally lucky. What a great apartment! The first time as a family on a road trip, since my son left for college.

I always loved coding and writing software and have done it in varying intensity for the last 35 years. This number by itself is scary. I suppose it matches my temperament as an introvert very well. It allows me to focus on a problem intensely and I love it when the pieces of a puzzle fall into place or, after a while of debugging, the cause of a problems becomes finally clear.
